Who Belongs in Your Sales Pipeline

Filling a pipeline is more about quality than it is about quantity. It's all too common for business owners to think that "everyone is a fit for my product or service," when that's really not the case.

In talking with a fellow marketer this past week (shoutout to Maria Joyner at FounderScale), we discussed the importance of looking at current clients to figure out who your best clients are. You analyze what makes them a good client - looking at industry, personality, products/services, etc.

Then, you figure out a strategy to add more of these to your pipeline -- NOT just anyone who'll take a call with you!
